In recent months a new collection of archival films have been getting sprung from the SMU VAULT and making their way to our humble neighborhood theater. EYES ON FIRE is such a film. Presented this week on 35MM, this settlers-horror missed audiences when it was originally released in 1983 but it gets a new life as we've been graced with this wild ride of natural and very unnatural hauntings. (RIYL folk horror and TNT)  Canadian mockumentary sensation NIRVANNA THE BAND THE SHOW THE MOVIE THE TOUR arrives in town to preview their festival hit comedy and have a chat in person about time travel and gaming the system. RIAN JOHNSON's new KNIVES OUT MYSTERY: WAKE UP DEAD MAN continues this week and NIGHTMARE BEFORE XMAS gets the pre-show ballet with a little help from INVINCIBLE CZARS. Lots more headin' your way!
